It is a mental behavior that we have each felt, intent. It usually focuses around good or evil in the legal sense. Intending to get a job done, to be nice to a person, or even to harm a person in some way is something we all have strayed across a time or two. “The best of intentions.” “The worst of intentions.”
Intent comes from a place of want or need. When it turns toward, but not yet to, evil we of good will toward our fellow man put it quickly aside should it be evil. How many times have we heard a person say, “I never intended for that to happen.” Well, it did happen, intent or not, and if it harmed people or property we will stand to be reckoned with.
Intent to do evil is an odd mental malady. Intention to harm others is, I feel, what we see from the left over the past few decades. Mounting a governmental attack on Christianity using government bureaucracies, the FBI for instance, is intended to do harm to a group of people. For me it harkens back to Roman times when Christians were routinely crucified for their faith. Having seen a modicum of that attitude comeback under Biden/Harris caused a recoil in my mind.
The reason is that progressives want as badly as the Romans did to destroy Christianity. Jesus, His Father, we who follow them. In a way, these charlatans showed their hands right in front of our eyes and those hands were blood stained by history.
You see, by any other name humanity never changes. This is straight from the Bible, which I follow and know is true. There is nothing new under the sun, should be heeded as a warning to all of us. No matter the magic of technology those behind it have the same motives, the same intent. Whether for good or evil it is the basis of a choice freely made. It boils down to human nature, unbridled by faith. Faith in God and all the discipline that comes with that faith.
